Memorial Health University Medical Center/Children’s Hospital of Savannah is located in beautiful Savannah, Georgia, and serves a diverse population covering 33 counties in Georgia and 3 in South Carolina. Our pediatric residents enjoy close working relationships and mentor experiences with our faculty.  They are able to successfully pursue careers in general pediatrics and enter into competitive residencies around the country.  Graduates of our pediatric residency program are well-prepared to care for children in a variety of communities and environments, and we take pride in training them to achieve their goals.

PREREQUISITE:

  • Successful completion of PGY1 year in an ACGME-accredited pediatric residency program prior to start date.

  1. Letter of Interest stating your reasons for leaving your current program and interest in the Children’s Hospital of Savannah pediatric residency program.
  2. Updated CV
  3. 3 Letters of Recommendation. One letter must be from your current (or most recent) Program Director, which verifies you are a pediatric PGY1 in good standing, you are expected to complete 12 months of training by June 30, 2025, and you have the support of your current Program Director to apply for this position. The letter should include a list of your completed rotations (and scheduled rotations through June 30, 2025) and summative Milestone evaluations.
  4. USMLE or COMLEX transcript
  5. ECFMG certificate (if applicable)
  6. MSPE

All applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis as of 7/1/2025.  Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
