The APPD Annual Fall Meeting provides new program leaders with the opportunity to network, enhance professional development skills, and learn what is new in medical education curriculum. Attendees explore innovative education approaches, enjoy networking, and discuss best practices of medical education.
Target Audience:
New Pediatric Program Leaders including program directors, fellowship directors, associate program directors, coordinators, chief residents, vice chairs of education and other new educational leaders!
The Fall Meeting will feature the following content:
- Program Organization 101: Basics of Day-to-Day Program Leadership
- Stakeholder Updates from ACGME and ABP
- Community-Building/Section Specific Programming (program directors, fellowship directors, associate program directors, coordinators, vice chairs of education)
- Skill Building for New Program Leaders
- Keynote Speaker / Dinner
